The Reciprocating Saw is a very versatile tool. They come in really handy for doing  certain jobs. For instance if you need to cut holes in your walls for any reason or doing demolition work, the Reciprocating Saw makes short work of of studs or pipes made of metal, plastic or PVC. Just make sure you have the correct blade installed. If you’re a Gardner, you can even use it to prune some of your hardier plants.

Features

Reciprocating Saws range from 7.5 amps to 11.8 amps. The more powerful the saw, the more heavier it will be. Most of the saws have variable speeds. They also come cordless which  makes it easier to use anywhere without dealing with the cord.

Safety First

Before you start your project. Make sure the area you are going to cut is clear of any obstacles. For instance, if you are going to cut out a piece of your dry wall, make sure they’re not any wires or pipes between the wall. If you are doing demolition work, for instance taking down a wall or making space for a new door, make sure the studs you cut are not  load bearing ones. This could be a real disaster. Nothing ever goes 100% right. However if you plan well, be careful and not be over confident you should do well.

Good luck!
